Adolescent Medicine Specialist

Position Overview:

Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Adolescent Medicine Specialist to join our innovative, multidisciplinary team. At Prisma Health Adolescent Medicine, we focus on providing comprehensive care for adolescents and young adults (AYA) aged 10-25 years. As the only free-standing AYA practice in South Carolina, we currently serve over 2000 patients facing various health concerns including:

• Eating Disorders
• LGBTQIA+ Care (including comprehensive transgender medical care)
• AYA Mental Health (including psychopharmacologic management)
• Acne Management (including Accutane)
• Menstrual Health
• Reproductive Health
• Sexual Health
• HIV, PrEP, and PEP care
• Inpatient Consultation

Who We Are Looking For:

• A candidate committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with a track record of fostering an inclusive environment.
• Board eligible or board certified in Adolescent Medicine.
• Experience and passion for managing eating disorders across the spectrum of disease.
• An interest in medical education, particularly in training residents and fellows.
• A compassionate professional who exhibits integrity and empathy towards medically and socially complex AYA patients.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.
