Job Description
LHH is currently recruiting a Senior Corporate Accountant with international accounting experience for a contract assignment with one of our clients in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong general accounting, month-end close, reconciliation, foreign exchange, and PeopleSoft experience in a high-volume environment.
Job Duties include:
Perform month-end close functions including journal entry preparation and review of accruals.
Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, identify and clear reconciling items.
Review expense reports and AP coding for accuracy.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Perform monthly variance analysis.
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit lead schedules.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
3+ years of general accounting and analysis experience.
Advanced Excel skills, and experience with PeopleSoft preferred.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
